1. Using VikSplitX
VikSplitX provides tools for recording shared expenses, calculating balances and tracking settlements between members of a group.
You are responsible for ensuring information you enter is accurate and that you have permission to add information relating to other group members.
2. Accounts and guest use
VikSplitX may allow certain functionality to be used as a guest before an account is created.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity performed through your account.
3. Group members
A group may contain members who do not have their own VikSplitX account. A display name represents a group member but should not be treated as verified identity by itself.
4. Expense calculations
VikSplitX calculates expense shares and balances based on information entered by users.
You should review expenses, participants and settlements before relying on the displayed result.
5. Payments and UPI
VikSplitX is designed as an expense-management service and not as a wallet, bank account or escrow service.
If VikSplitX opens another payment application, payment authorization and processing remain subject to the external payment provider and its terms.
VikSplitX should never request your UPI PIN, payment OTP, banking password or card PIN.
6. Manual settlements
Users may be able to manually mark a debt as settled. You are responsible for ensuring a real-world payment or agreement has actually occurred before marking a settlement complete.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse VikSplitX to commit fraud, impersonate another person, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious content or violate applicable law.
8. Availability
VikSplitX may change, suspend or discontinue features during development, maintenance or future product updates.
Development previews, planned features and proposed pricing should not be treated as guarantees that a feature will launch in exactly the same form.
9. Prime and paid features
VikSplitX Prime is currently presented as a planned future offering. Pricing shown on the website is proposed pricing until a production subscription offering is launched.
Subscription, cancellation, refund and billing terms should be finalized before paid plans become available.
10. Limitation of responsibility
VikSplitX helps users record and calculate shared expenses but does not determine whether an underlying expense, debt or payment is legally valid between group members.
Users remain responsible for resolving disputes about purchases, reimbursements and real-world payments.
11. Changes
These terms may change as VikSplitX develops. Material updates should be reflected by updating the date shown at the top of this page.
